Bollywood movie ‘Raag – The Music of Life’ has songs sung by outstanding singers like Mamta Sharma, Mohit Chauhan, Palak Muchhal, Shaan, and Shabab Sabri. The music is by Nikhil Kamath, Altaf Sayyed and Umesh Tarkaswar. The lyrics are by Kumaar, Altaaf Sayyed, Bhupinder Kaur, and Hyder Najmi. The music is on T-Series.
A peppy dance number 'Ankh Pe Chashma Daal Ke' sung by Mamta Sharma, sees Heena Panchal setting the stage on fire. Whereas a mushy romantic number 'Bepanahaa Tum Ko Chahe' has Palak Muchhal and Mohit Chauhan crooning on the lyrics. 'Tose Naina Lade' is a traditional Rai folk song and actors Raghubir Yadav and Rajasthani Singer Rekha Rao have sung it. There is one more song titled - 'Dhokha Hai Dhokha Ishq Main' which has been sung by the magical duo Shaan and Shabab Sabri, this is a typical heartbreak number. An eclectic mix of songs and genres sung by the best singers makes Raag's music compelling and true to the name of the movie - The Music Of Life'. The story of the movie revolves around a tribal community from Madhya Pradesh and to keep the flavor intact - Palak Muchhal, Shaan, and Raghubir Yadav have sung in the film. Not many would know that all three of them are basically from Madhya Pradesh - Palak from Indore, Shaan from Khandwa, and Raghubir from Bhopal.
